Logo design is a part of larger scale visual presentation elements design service that is offered by MBC, considering standardization of the same as well as their implementation.
Visual presentation design is MBC Studio's special field of work, which no matter how it seems simple, is in fact very sophisticated system of procedural creative and technological actions and more then one software application.
Concept of "Logo" interpretation, is to our estimation, too unprecise. There is plenty of "Logo" term definitions, which in matter is just abbreviation of word "Logotype", which also could be very unfortunately related to Greek term of "Logos", which have much wider area of meanning.
We accept that "Logotype", therefore "Logo", is just one type of graphic form, as we define as in following text:
"Logotype (Logo) is textual statement, part of statement or acronym, displayed using 2D and/or 3D geometric shapes (set in unified single coordinate system, defined by point coordinates or by parameters) of modified alphanumerical signes,defined by color and/or texture, which, being observed, cause secondary associative interpretation of the same."
According to our definition logo without alphanumerical signs is no logo. However, many presentation graphic creations are named "Logo", although they do not contain any alphanumerical sign. We name such creation "Symbol" and define as in following text:
"Symbol is assembly that contain 2D and/or 3D geometric shape or shapes (set in unified single coordinate system, defined by point coordinates or by parameters), defined by color and/or texture, which, being observed cause primary associative interpretation of the same."
Fact is, that in domain of visual presentation, exist some more creations that are not covered by our definitions, we also accept terms like "Slogan" and "Name" (not to be defined in this text) and together with "Logo" and "Symbol" we name them "Visual presentation elements".
One of our many services is Visual presentation elements design either as to the level of design limited service, or as a part of more complex special service named "Presentation standard creation", to which is dedicated special segment of this site.
The main problem appearing during visual presentation elements design is customer's desires feasibility. In most cases, customer comes with his idea or solution, that is almost always technically uncorrect or non-aesthetic or both. Furthermore, if customer, disregarding aesthetic and technical rules, insists on his solution, common consequence is procedural crash and job abortion.
Wishing to prevent such result, we always offer more then one draft, already as result of talks with customer about subject, and all is followed by finalization that includes several refinements consulting customer.
Final product is set of documents that include all final design steps according to aplications used during design, as well as usable files for printed and electronic media (like web or video), etc.
